OK, let me recap... Skyrim probably passed 1m Bethesda and EA are satisfied NBA2K you don't remember them saying anything We don't have many examples of AAA on Switch So, you didn't provide confirmed figures nor do you have enough examples. You again came up with indies while my question was about traditional 3rd parties. Consequently, there is no evidence of "all the success stories" from big publishers on Switch. |
Ys VIII is off to a good start on Switch in the western markets. We have sale figures for Japan -- it opened 6.5k; but early info indicates that Ys VIII western sales are trending ahead of the PS4/PSV. Odds favor Ys VIII on Switch to outperform the PS4 version in the west. pic.twitter.com/wArdGbl7cd

Add up Ys VII to that list. Also Mario + Rabbids (although that can be considered partly first party), Disgaea, Dragon Ball, and more. Overall, no HUGE success, meaning over 2m or something, nevertheless, data suggests that Switch owners buy third party games, at least on a larger scale than the WiiU or Wii eras.
