Certainly a connection can develop with someone in a forum. I don't think it is possible to develop a true, deep love for someone though. Unfortunately, it is not possible to truly know someone that you haven't met in real life. And, if you don't know someone, you can't have real, honest love.
With that said, if you think you have fallen in love with me, you should buy me a drink and we'll see where it goes
