Isn't that a normal saying? I hear it just as often as hit the nail on the head? 

It's not. That Urban Dictionary page had 2 likes, and based on what it said it probably wouldn't help you.

Ok. Then change it to "hit the nail on the head". You clearly understood what I meant, so you could have just taken a mental note and corrected it. Not that hard to do, is it?
