Other than that, I agree with the sentiment. The Wii U simply never felt like a fully fleshed out product and it offered a kind of weird game experience right from the get go. 

That being said, I still infinitely prefer the Wii U over the Switch. 

Glad you're able to enjoy the stick layout. I get the reason for the joy-con right joy-cons' joystick (multiplayer and limited space). But the Wii U's pro controller has no reason for having the same layout as the gamepad.

I did enjoy the Wii U, it just that there are so many annoying things about it.
