You were the one speculating while most users were sticking to the facts from page 1 onward, and now you're putting down others for making the thread complicated. That is rich.

Ok, tell me how do you stick to facts when facts are UNKNOWN. We only know 1: Sony does not want cross play and 2: an account made on the PS4 will not work on Switch.

From there you smart pants automatically wrapped up the case, it's Sony's fault, Sony magically has access to the Switch and like a God has the power to block anything it wants to block there... And that's it, you didn't even consider that Sony doesn't have that kind of power. So yes without knowing all the details I SPECULATED, that's what I said, that's what I admitted to and you come up now acting as if speculating does not make sense and throwing wild accusations is the normal way to go?

A few of you are on a quest to do some hating and can't stand when people try to reason. If you have some kind of allergy to reason and logic deal with it and don't shove it up our throats.

And now on to the next one that doesn't get it cause one has to be insane to think people would eventually get it.

The bolded part is wrong.  An account that has been logged into on PS4 will not work on the Switch.  Even if you made your account on PC or mobile and never actually played a game on the PS4 version and only logged in to get one of those two free skins they gave away to PS+ members.  Those skins being a major contributor to the anger here.  Sony literally incentivized people to log in on their platform.. now seemingly to deliberately block them from playing on two of the other four offered platforms... without saying a damn thing about the ramifications of it.

It is slimy, it is despicable, and it is costing Sony a bit of rep and cash right now.  As it should.
