Corporations are more hooked on money than junkies on crack. The movie made something like 350 million dollars if I'm not mistaken and they call that a flop. It's gotten to the point that if a movie doesn't make more than a billion dollars it's a flop.

This movie is less successful than the others in the franchise granted but calling it a flop when it made 350 million dollars. Has the dollar depreciated so much that 350 millions is nothing?

And any fans that have a problem with it are belittled and accused of being the scum of the Earth.  Yet, strangely enough, Kennedy and Lucasfilm expect us to still go see the films. My prediction is that Solo doesn't even hit $1B WW, possibly falling short of even $900M.  A very poor result given how much money Disney has pumped into the film.

Only 900 million dollars? OMG it's the end of Disney, of Hollywood, of the earth itself. 900 million dollars is nothing I have more right now in my pocket in 1 dollar bills, what a ruin for Disney and Starwars. Let's consider suicide cause why go on living in a world where a movie will only do 900 million dollars. Starving kids in third world countries have more money than that.

As for the money Disney pumped in it it's much MUCH less than 900 million dollars. In my book that's called making money but yeah it's just me I guess. Oh and I almost forgot, whatever amount of money they poured into making that movie, 100 millions, 200 millions, no one is forcing them to pour that much, movies used to be made with much much less, big budget movies loaded with special effects. It kind of reminds me of AAA video games, they are costing always more money to make and publishers expect us to pay 60 70 100 dollars with the basic game, DLC's, micro-transactions and what not and they think they can simply increase the price tag indefinitely and that people will keep up with that...
