Yes it does, like Skyrim or Fallout for example. But in general games from Activision, Ubisoft, EA, Square Enix, Take Two, sell better on consoles. Unless it's PC centric.

In general I do agree with you. Just wanted to point out that we PC gamers aren't dead yet and will enthusiastically embrace games that actually take advantage of the PC platform's superior specs.
