I am a big fan of many Square Enix games, but their track record on Nintendo consoles is shit outside of Dragon Quest and some of the remakes. The only thing of interest with these sorts of games is that Square is actually putting content on a Nintendo console; the problem is that it has the inspiration of a “Square Final Fantasy influenced attempt-at-market-grab app #46.”

Bravely Default is solid, quite popular and quite quality game for 3DS game, Octopath Traveler also seems it will be quite good game.

Bravely Default was one of the most soulless, grindy, and repetitive RPGs I have ever played. The game literally keeps repeating itself for padding. It is perhaps because certain younger Nintendo fans have accepted mediocrity in the place of greatness because they haven’t had the experience.

There’s no reason to be a champion of mediocre RPGs because they’re the best exclusives that Square’s got for Nintendo consoles at this time.
