^^I doubt it--they have enough cash to buy games if they need to, and some extremely stubborn third-parties are refusing to develop for Wii.

But, yes, by and large the tide will change.

OT:

The quote in the OP is a bunch of bull-crap. When the DS and the PSP were in the 'hyping' stage before release, Sony was the undisputed king of the gaming industry. Their current console outsold the competitors 5-1 at the time, and they could do no wrong (or so it seemed). Nintendo only had one 'bastion' of the gaming world that they were still dominant in--handheld gaming.

The PSP would change that. It was the system for 'hardcore' gamers. It was a portable PS2. You'll find no pokeymans here. So what if they have a one-year lead? They are DONE! Hey, maybe we'll give them a break and pick them up, they can make some nice games for the PSP.

So, of course, now that they're getting their ass kicked, they're not competing.
