Have you been on the internet in the past 24 hours or so? Just asking. The answer should be quite obvious. The year doesn't end in December, it ends March for Nintendo. And besides we don't know the full extent of their E3. This isn't the first time that the internet doubted Nintendo though, they even broke their own expectations. Twice.

Easy to break expectations if you set them low ;)

But yeah, people are jumping to conclusions VERY quickly, we know there's Pokémon, albeit a spinoff but the franchise will still help move consoles, then there's Smash Bros. this year and... some other stuff that I can't remember but I know I'm interested in Smash Bros. so yeah that's why I mentioned it... Smash Bros.

Well, true. The 10M was lowballing it, but then they upped it to 16M and sold more than even that.

Still, as you said, it's gonna be packed for the second half of the year alone, who knows what Jan-March will bring. I mean we have, Pokemon Lets Go, Smash, Yoshi, Fire Emblem, Octopath, and a slew of other medium sized games. I think they'll hit 20M. I too, can't wait for the Smash reveal, I hope my heart can take it, lol.
