If publishers are going to keep pushing microtransactions, I'd rather they use something like this model than most of the other nonsense they've tried lately. Free to play, cosmetic only, no loot box bs. Funny that the most successful micro models are some of the oldest and it's taken publishers this long to circle back to them. Not very interested in the game myself, though. Monetization aside I'd rather play a PUBG made by a talented studio, aesthetically.
