People making shit up and then others assuming guilty without proof is bad, but so is being constantly spied on with cameras everywhere...

Completely agree. This case should have been solved through a regular investigation, not officers being dependant on cameras (that actually help push the idea of them being guilty of everything they are accused of). The case also shows how fast we human turn into the "lynch mob" mentality based on nothing but someone's story.
