I would agree if this was a worldwide retail option but its literally only available on the Japanese Nintendo store sp i really dont think this means anything about the syatems design.

So if Nintendo starts offering this dock-less Switch world wide, the Switch becomes a handheld in your eyes, even though its functionality and design hasn't changed at all? That doesn't make any sense.
