Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee are simply late gen 7 remakes everyone expected would be Diamond/Pearl - and that's a good thing

If I'm not mistaken, the Pokémon anime never stops or enter in really long fillers, so considering it's already started covering ultra sun/moon since October last year, and that pokemon seasons last about a year, I think there's no way in hell The Pokémon Company will wait until 2020 to make a season based on gen 8. I think Game Freak should focus on delivering a gen 8 game next year.
