@bolded: For the Switch it's probably due to Donkey Kong and Hyrule Warriors, plus the announcement of Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.
For the PS4, I don't know exactly. But it looks like many are upgrading their consoles, considering that the Pro is largely in front at Gamestop and only slightly behind at Best Buy, and the only one available at Amazon.
