Who is he and why is this one person more informed than an entity that does business directly with Microsoft? How does he know 'for fact'? Does he work for Microsoft because that is the only way I would say he know more than EA?

He is a insider and EA numbers dont even match up with NPD numbers anyway. End of 2016 their estimates were 25.6m but end of 2017 their estimates are 29.4m for XBO which means it sold 3.8m in 2017 but we know it sold 4.2m in the US alone in 2017 from NPD so EA's estimates dont include Japan or are inaccurate.
