I wouldn't say it's Wii-like at all. On Switch it is more of a sideshow. Whereas for Wii the system was based on casual games. Nintendo will continue to make their core games deeper like they've done with BOTW and Mario Odyssey. I'm sure they will have more efforts like 1-2 Switch and Nintendo Labo. It's just that it doesn't have near the opportunity to take the system over like it did on the Wii due to mobile games owning that market.
Reminds me of the PS3. Went core first and remained core but also added PlayStation move and games like the harry potter thing ect.
