If they want to make money from mobile games, they need to change their approach quickly. They're taking the mobile section way too seriously. Mobile gamers are casuals who don't care about quality or content. ''Complete'' games like Mario Bros, Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing are not gonna do it. It needs to be very simple with small payments to give the player more options. A Dr. Mario puzzle game with microtransactions might be something worth looking into.

Fire Emblem is literally like every other weeb gacha game. It's just more friendly with free currency so that you don't have to spend as much. It also has made a ton of money, and is more profitable than any other game in the series.

Mario Bros was also very well received but didn't sell great because Nintendo doesn't know how to introduce purchases into a non-gacha game. If they would have allowed you buy it by world instead of a $10 wall after a few minutes of play, it would have been a lot more successful.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."
