Not sure how to feel about Hinamatsuri. It's competently made but I feel so manipulated. The humor is sitcom level but well executed. Hina is a terrible character. Biggest asshole in the show but everything is geared towards making her likable. I wanted to make her Best Girl but luckily there is Hitomi who actually deserves it.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
