Speaking of Kemono (Friends), now that the studio that made the anime so popular has been kick off the series, I'm looking forward to their next project and hoping it will have the same kind of charm.  I just watched the teasers videos they put out yesterday.

It's just two girls talking about random things but it has that familiar Kemono feel to it.

If you like that you should look into Tesagure. It's what they did before Kemono friends and it is literally nothing else but girls talking about random things in a 20 minute format. It's special because it is very free flow since there is no script. It's basically just listening in on real conversations actual Japanese girls are having.

I watched some of that when it came out.  That style of voice direction feels really natural and fun.  It's like they're having a real conversation rather than reading a script.  The voice actresses sounding like they were really having fun was a big part of the charm with Kemono Friends.

I feel personally offended that no one has talked about Hisone to Masotan yet. Easily the most special anime this season next to all those generic shounens and sequels.

It has a very unique art style that is reminiscent of older anime and has character emotes that feel a lot like Trigger. It also sports the best seiyuu of all time in a main role, Tomoyo Kurosawa.

And if that wasn't enough it also has the best ED of the season.

Hisone to Masotan is awesome.  I love the characters, they're so flawed and weird and fun.

Nao is wonderful.

I was confused as hell when the teacher from Piano Forest showed up, though.
