Probably going to be crucificated for saying this, or you might not even approve what Im about to say, but if you want to play the first one(you should, since both games are connected, though XC 2 is largely a self contained story), just emulate it, even if you dont own the game.I mean, XC is probably going to come to the Switch eventually, most likely in the form of a VC title, but if you feel guilty for emulating it, you would just have to buy it later down the line.

Nah, not my thing, too much of a headache. I'll buy it for my mate and she'll give me a lend of her switch at some point, been meaning to get the yolk off of her for Mario oddessy anyway but VR took over my gaming time. I'll take that to note but which one is actually better? X or 2? I've def read mixed opinions about the latter.

What Im about to say is obviously personal, but I would say that XC 2 is better, hands down.X is still an amazing game, but it falters on the story department, and has several minor quality of life issues.XC 2 just does almost everything better, with the only exception probably being the exploration, but even then XC 2 is really close to it.

But if you have the time, I definetely recommend playing through X.And lets face it, with Nintendo porting over many Wii U games, X will eventually come to the Switch, and hopefully with many of its smaller isuues fixed.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
