For me it was. For those who do not view any trailers, view any imdb page before, any wikipedia page, news sites, and are fanboys of the MU, even knowing a certain character is in a film is enough to be a spoiler for me (it's a problem. :P). I was on the edge of my seat during Winter Soldier Zola scenes, that thrill of not knowing then seeing it on screen is why are avoid all such things. The only thing I knew about Captain Marvel film up to this point was that it was being made. That's it.
