Technically Xenoblade is not the same franchise as Xenosaga and Xenogears.

The first game was a new IP originally titled "Monado: The Beginning of the World" and was only changed to "Xenoblade" at the last minute as a tribute to director Tetsuya Takahashi.

True but at this point they are considered something of sequence of spiritual sequels between them all, the Xenoblade titles being the most viable.
