The only MCU films Black panther didn't beat Internationally were Iron Man 3, Civil War, and the Avengers 1 & 2. Three of those are massive team up movies.

I don't see how you can look at those numbers and state people outside the US hurt its success due to a dominant black cast.  People everywhere saw it in droves, it's just in the US it was staggering in success behind only Avatar and Star Wars Force Awakens in gross revenue.  That's truly mind boggling numbers.

It's a real thing. In China, Look at the international poster for 12 Years a Slave (90% Brad Pitt), The Force Awakens (I think Finn was totally removed) or even Black Panther. In some countries, Black people just aren't marketable. 

Then blame the studios for being racist. Cause posters don't change the film. BP is still going to do the same as the 3rd Thor film. It's not like a different poster (which they as have a version that looks exactly like the one everyone else got) changes that most of the cast is black in the film.  Or that Finn was a main character in TFA. Stop trying to see racism where there is none.

It's presale tickets are more than the last 7 marvel movies combined, this includes Black panther of course.

He was in Civil War, which had the benefit of all those other heroes fans and yet his solo outing did far better now at $250+ million more in the US.

It is hard to overstate just how insane Black Panther success was when it beat everything else Marvel has done.  I think infinity War will smash the opening week doing $250 million, but then its legs will be the big question mark competing against Deadpool and Star Wars.

I seriously doubt Solo is going to do much to stop this film. Deadpool is going to be the one to watch for. If it's a phoned in sequel, it's not going do much. But, if it's as good as the first one, then it'll definitely slow IW down some.
