Not exactly, you can do that with a PC too.

Still playing with a controller on a television is EXACTLY what defines console gaming, it's a native feature of consoles. PC got adapted to that later on because PC had to admit that it's a great idea but it's not originally speaking a PC thing.

Consoles are also natively speaking gaming machines which I need to remind you that PC's aren't.
