SSB only did 10 million on one platform and that was called wii, it not guaranteed to do 10 million on switch. 

Yeah, on the Wii, which many "core gamers" missed out, who are considered the main audience of the franchise. And a pretty contested sequel to Melee to boot. And yet it sold over 13M

3DS Smash alone could quite possibly break those 10M this year too. A game considered a hallmark of competitive action gameplay sells 10M on a pure handheld who doesn't have that kind of audience. Just think about the implications and then think again about Smash on Switch sales. You could say less than 10M this year, which is quite possible especially if it would launch in December, but LT sales of less than 10M are just ludicrous.
