I disagree. It's just a quality of life feature that allows people to agree with a post anonymously but I think they should add in a dislike feature too.

About a dislike button, wouldn't that be a cowardly way to express oneself? If someone disagrees with what you say let them explain why in full daylight instead of hiding in the shadows sending dislikes. To me an anonymous dislike button is just a way for people to tell you "I don't like what you say and don't agree with it but I don't really have a reasoning to defend my disliking of your comment and I'm too coward to explain why to your face".

Or at least that's how I feel about such a button.

It depends.  I come across posts that I disagree with but alot of the time I don't feel like replying to it for whatever reason or alot of people already replied to it already. Sometimes it's because the topic has been beat to death and kicked some more. Sometimes the post I disagreed with is off-topic and I don't want to derail the thread further or a mod said we can't keep bringing it up.

A like and dislike feature are really just a convenient way for anyone to be honest about if they like a post or not.  The only cowardly people that I see are the ones who are scared of honesty. Anonymity allows for the highest degree of honesty.
