Well to answer your comment, I "rich-text" reply too when replying to someone's comment but if I add a comment that is not a reply, I see no other choice than to use the "quick reply" box at the bottom and that's where that damn "reset" button is. And for those who wonder it immediately deletes your comment with no possibility of recovery. If your comment is "sure I love potato chips" then it's no big deal, just write it again but if it's one of those super long comments in some hot debate thread, you will get up from your chair and hit your head on a wall I can promise.
