Eh. How about they first try to make games on par with the Dreamcast before that. Baby steps now. 

Anyway, this is awesome. Retro gaming is expensive who was born after the 16-bit generation.  I might get this if it has good games and emulation.

I bought all of my games again over the last few years and while expensive, it was worth every fucking penny. No lag when you use the deal console on a CRT tv... it's awesome. 

But if the president came up to me and said, hey... listen, we will do this first, and if it turns out ok, we will make a brand new console... I'd be totally ok with it lol.
