I think a lot of that has to due with hesitation. They probably wanted to see how GH3 would do first to see if it was worthwhile. But man was that hesitation a bad move haha, cause GH3 has almost sold 3 million WW on Wii and now has lost some brand appeal to its competitor. So it was a hesitation and its coming back to hurt them. Luckily for them there are a lot of mainstream buyers on the Wii and Rock Band should still have decent sales if not platinum itself. But Rock Band 2 will have to be a "full" version and really compete with GH4 if they want to compete on that platform. |
Agreed. I do think Rockband will go platinum now that I just learned that it's going to get a full and competent localization in Japan. I think it might even take off there.
