Finished watching Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru (SNAFU) last night. It was...interesting. Still digesting the last episode. Basic premise is a pessimistic loner boy who joins a club to solve people's problems and be less of a loner. Seems simple, but very well-written, if not over-dramatic sometimes. I liked every character, and every episode was fun to watch.

Main issue I had though, which was pronounced in the last episode, was that the anime was basically all "show" and very little "tell". I get that's usually preferred as far as writing goes, and I don't like to having everything spoon-fed to be me either, but sometimes there's such as a thing as being too vague. Several times I had to pause to try and interpret someone's meaning, and I'm still a bit unclear about one of the character's intentions in the last episode.

Overall though, definitely was worth the watch, and I'd love to see a season 3 if that ever pans out.

---------------------

Spring season begins! Started this season so far with 3D Kanojo: Real Girl and Tada-kun wa Koi wa Shinai.

3D Kanojo seems...okay. I like that the couple gets together early instead of waffling around, but not much really stood out either. Felt like it kinda rushed through the MC going from "I hate girls" to "I like this girl"...and I didn't really empathize well with him either. It seems like a cute idea though, so I'll keep with it and see how my impressions change.

Tada-kun on the other hand, had me either grinning or laughing several times. Funny animated cat, blonde girl, tsukomme/boke pairing, seems like whoever wrote this just gets me. Looking forward to more!
