I have a 37 page Metroid Prime essay going on there. It's mostly about its atmosphere, and I have yet to finish it. I started it like 4 years ago.

I'd also like to write in detail about the things that make me play the Xenoblade games, and specifically talk about the aspects that turn off a lot of people. Sadly, school eats up a lot of time, and I find better myself writing standard fiction and poetic prose.

37 pages? Do you plan on doing something with it?

EDIT: Sorry if that sounded harsh/condescending, I'm genuinely curious.

It's a 19K+ word document, so I'd feel terrible if I didn't x) And it's not just blabbering, I've made real effort in avoiding that. In that sense, there's a publishing house in the state university of my city that concentrates on literary analysis, with special attention to recently emerged media, including video games. There are also free-style essay contests that accept this sort of deal, so I could publish on them as well.

It's mostly a comparison of emergence of tone and development of setting of the Metroid Prime games (particularly the original) to the style used by a few short story Mexican writers who put the characters' surroundings as a decisive part for narrative progression. This really stroke back when I first played Metroid Prime a few years ago. Hence, I'm also trying to put video games for excellent mechanisms for non-mainstream composition styles. So, of course, it's not appropriate enough to be published in a game site.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
