Most Japanese third party games do (relatively) poorly on the PS4, MHW is the major exception (and even that game didn't help the baseline of the PS4 at all). 

NNK on the PS3 sold better than it did on the DS which had nearly twice as big of a user base ...  

I mean, since it was never released outside of Japan, the twice as big of a user base doesn't really matter...
