I hope the new consoles display HDR by default. The OS, web browser, store, etc. should all be HDR optimized. Hopefully by 2021 all new content being made is in HDR. It is a generational leap in TV tech, and much more impressive than 4K alone.

And, yes, the Thrustmaster T-GT had better be PS5 compatible. That thing cost more than the PS4 Pro and PSVR combined.

I have the GT500 RS, but I would still like it to be compatible nonetheless. And everything in HDR sounds nice, especially dynamic themes.
