well they weren't going to stand up there and say "well.. this is all we could come up with, i hope you like it" obviously they are going to stand behind their product when making press conferences.. i don't doubt that they didn't think they were onto something.. but Nintendo couldn't have expected to be market leader within a year, and the competition following their moves.. no one could have predicted that
