With this kind of numbers, how long is it going to take to beat its competition? There are around 6.5m PS4s, 5.4m Vitas and 23m 3DS in Japan, according to VGChartz. The Switch should be able to beat PS4 numbers around summer of 2019, and Vita's around this year's Christmas. I don't think Youkai Watch is going to be as big as it's been for the 3DS. Level 5 have basically burnt out the franchise way too fast, and the userbase is going to take a while before moving on to the Switch.
