I've often wondered what developers of games like NiGHTS and No More Heroes are feeling these days.

I'd assume that when they started development of these games, they hoped for the best for the Wii, but assumed, for the most part, that their games were a niche on a smaller platform.

Now, it's clear that they are the forerunning titles on the biggest platform of the generation. It's... gotta be a mindtrip to have that flip on you as you develop. Instead of making quirky, fun titles, they're instead charged with getting the profits the PS3 titles should have gotten for their respective companies, if the PS3 had done better.

Honestly, NiGHTS is probably the most important game for Sega in the next 18 months. I doubt they knew that was going to be true going in.

I have had the same thoughts.  I'm curious as to what's running through their heads right now, or even how much has changed on the development.  Did they throw in a whole lot more money for it suddenly (possibly explaining the very improved graphics)?
