Well to be honest because it was kind of an off the wall statement. No one had said anything bad about the Switch yet out the blue you say these detractors don't have a leg to stand on. It was like what was the point of saying just out the blue like  that I guess lol. But you are correct the Switch is having a strong start to year 2 on the market and is looking very good!
