Well, it took awhile, but I finally finished Non Non Biyori, and I have to say, it was a fun watch overall. I like the concept of kids enjoying their daily lives in the rural parts of Japan. It really made me chuckle when the country kids would get excited over convenient stores or using cellphones. Having the Tokyo kid there also made it interesting seeing her adjust to the country life. I do recall that if you lived there, you needed a car just to get basic things, like groceries and convenient stores.
Also, the characters are really great. I think Renge may be my favorite, especially her and Candy Store as a pair. They're so cute together and Candy Store is just a great guardian to Renge. Their moments were really sweet.
Overall, really good watch, though by the 2nd season, it was starting to get a little stale..
