Its about the culture you want the sport to represent and encourage that is far bigger and generational then the jobs they loose, but also less a tangible subject.

I wonder how long we'll have to wait until women get prohibited from becoming pregnant because men cannot perform that role.

I must have been unclear with my point. This isn't about freedom as so many of you are making it out to be. Men don't have the freedom to do this but no one cares about that... Its about objectification of woman in society and it being shoehorned into huge, family friendlhy sport events and probergating a culture of continued objectification.
