Bayo and Kirby are doing pretty well.
Even DK is doing wonders for a game coming out in months.

Alot of people here think Switch will lose momentum because of a lack of huge system sellers in the first half of the year but i dont think so.

The big system sellers of last year are still moving hardware so it just needs a steady flow of medium sized hits to maintain momentum.

Dragon Quest Builders

Bayonetta 1+2

Payday 2

Kirby: Star Allies

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Dark Souls Remastered

Mario Tennis Aces

Dozens of indies

And the biggest X-factor, Labo, which could be the next big kid/casual/family hit.

I think thats an interesting statement. My son wants a switch, but has said before he gets one he wants to get more games first. Now even if he got the switch now, he'd still have a number of games that he wants. I think thats key, is first 12 months launch you have to have enough quality titles for people to already be behind the curve, that way software will continue to sell even if there is a little lull. As long as there are games to fill the gap, you dont have as much concern. Of course the hardcore who buys lots might moan, but those that might only be able to manage one or two games at most a month will be able to still get the games that are being sold.
