That's the thing with Zelda games. No story. And with no story, how can you feel compelled to care about what you're doing and reach the GRAND finale when there won't even be one?

See? I don't care what anyone else says but for me in this day and age, story is almost as important as gameplay. I'd say it's like 55%/45% A game can be sooooo much more fun if you're having fun playing yet at the same time wondering what will happen moving forward with the story.
The Last of Us, Shadow of the Colossus, The Last Guardian, Silent Hill 2, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Unchartd. MGS, Final Fantasy....you name it. These games are prime examples.
