Thats not true.Not every western game is performing well there and there is no pattern.No reason rdr2 will easily outperform rdr.

While not every western game is performing well. The major Western games have done pretty well in the past 5 years. GTA5 is a million seller in Japan and Call of Duty has established itself as a very solid seller. The market for these games has increased and I'm not sure there are many cases of retraction. Even Skyrim will likely pass 500k with the Switch port in Japan.
