One doesn't have to keep up with the other in order for either to look good. On its own SMO has done great, just like, let's say, The Last Of Us (a title that did just as good on PS4 as it did on PS3 - to combat your first sentence), has for Sony.

Not saying they don't sell but they don't sell this well. TLOU R only sold as much as it did with heavy bundling. That's not impressive compared to MK8D which sold on its own and outsold the original more quickly.

That's because the Wii U only sold 13 million lifetime, while the PS3 was a decent success.
