I do not understand why is it that some people here think physical games are gonna go the way of Blockbuster. They are different mediums, in price, value, and fans. Digital is surely going to go stronger in the coming years, but I imagine it will reach some kind of peak after which it will barely grow - too many people are attached to their physical copies, myself included.

There needs to be an overhaul of digital, with better deals (except for steam, the deals are in fact too good), a simple loaning mechanism, and re-sell value if it is to improve upon physical further.

Of course there are different mentalities as to why. But I think specifically in this case, it's a report of a retailer ceasing Xbox One sales thus prompting extreme reaction from some of the Xbox camp.  Yes, I went there.

I don´t really understand the argument here. A retailer seizes sales of Xbox Ones because MS has made digital more attractive. In what way would it be less interesting to buy an Xbox One because they are giving away more games digitally? You really think their argument is valid?
