Again, i said Switch games is way more lighter than on ps, even with big AAA game need install, they are still a lot smaller than ps ones. |

ARM here is from AMD, Tegra is from Nvidia. Graphic is the same except control functions quality on psp is no where close to ps2, compare Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 psp to Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja 5, graphic look almost same but the quality gameplay and control are not. All games are suit on handheld i said here are Nintendo games, not Sony games who focus on graphic and resolution, since when i mention Skyrim and Doom are more suit for handheld here? NA? Look like Switch sold most in December and also is one of the best selling console off all time in US. People have said with the rise of smartphone, portable market for gaming is smaller and on life support, Nintendo console also is done after Wii U, now they are combine two into one with hope it Switch can make it but you are still saying it is a safe choice, OK |
AMD is known for x86 but also dabbles in ARM. Nvidia Tegra is the chip branding, but uses ARM cores. I didn't say third party suited handheld. If Nin fans care so much about good games like Doom and Skyrim on a handheld hybrid, then PS gamers will care about having them on a portable, along with PS first party games. Just because Switch potentially sold more units in one month, that means it owns NA? It's the fastest selling, not best selling. Being the fastest 100 meter sprinter on Earth is basically meaningless if your competing in the 800 meter race. We need to see if Switch also has stamina. Some people, like journalists especially, were saying consoles were dead, yet PS4 and even XB1 are doing fine, if not amazing, so it's no surprise that a Nin handheld hybrid is having success so far. A $500 high performance console would have been super risky, a $200 low performance console would have been quite risky, no console at all would have made Nin look like they had been defeated an given up, so merging their console with their handheld, and adding some functionality that made the Wii sell so well, with a reasonable market price for it all, was the least risky by far. The more third party support it gets, along with more online support and app support, the less risky it becomes as the gen goes on. A handheld hybrid was still a risk, but the safest one they could have taken.
