No one thinks that. Everyone knows how poor  UK is a poor market for Nintendo, unlike other european countries like France (always been full of Nintendo fans)

Actually, UK is a very average market. About 1/7 sales in Europe are from the UK. There are about 65 million people living there, which is less than 1/10 out of all Europeans. Even if we ignore eastern Europe, UK is just slightly below average.

Of course there are countries like France where Nintendo's doing a lot better, but there are also countries where they're basically non-existant.
