For me it gets a bad rap because they shoehorned waggle into every fucking core IP they owned. For games like Wii Sports etc. waggle worked because the type of game was invented with that in mind but Zelda? Mario? Who the fuck thought shaking a controller violently was easier or more practical than pressing a button? It made no sense.
