With digital versions, you press the home button in game 1 and start game 2 (game 1 closes then automatically)

Yeah captain, of course it can't do that. I only showed a simple solution to having a bunch of games on the go without the need to carry 24 game cases around. Digital games are changed faster, obviously.

That's the one I got, space for 5 games along the top so 90% of the time Zelda is in the Switch and I've my other 4 games along there... and the other 34 digital games installed on my 128GB SD card which I got for about £40 in the UK.
