While waiting on this season to get rolling, I've been working on my anime backlog some more. This week's show was Monthly Girl's Nozaki-kun. Basic premise is a normal girl confesses to a boy she likes in a roundabout way, finds out he's actually a popular shoujo manga author, and somehow becomes his assistant, meeting his other assistants/classmates/friends in the process.

Holy cow did I love this show! Can't remember the last time an anime had me laughing so hard. Lots of misdirection, but I enjoy that kind of humor. Funny premise, and I pretty much liked the entire cast of characters.

Everyone in unison: We don't care about your life, boom.

Okay okay geez. Well here's some interesting news for legal anime viewers. Apparently Amazon has shut down Strike, its dedicated anime channel, and has transferred all of its content to Prime Video. Great news for me, since I have a Prime account but never cared enough to pay extra for anime there. Curious if this will impact Amazon picking up anime in the future and keeping it off Crunchyroll/Funimation. Seems Strike wasn't a very popular service. Guess this means Made in Abyss will be next in my backlog.

Everyone in unison: This is interesting, thanks boom.
